Malibu – Michael Madsen, known for his roles in “Kill Bill” and “Reservoir Dogs”, was arrested over the weekend on suspicion of domestic violence, authorities said on Monday.
Domestic Disturbance Incident
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in Malibu, officers responded to a “domestic disturbance” on the 31600 block of Broad Beach Road around 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, where a woman reported that her husband had pushed her outside and locked her out.
Arrest and Release on Bail
The husband, later identified as 66-year-old Madsen, was booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor domestic violence charge. He was released on bail of $20,000, as reported by Variety.
Statement from Madsen’s Representative
A representative for Madsen told Variety: “This is a disagreement between Michael and his wife that we hope will be resolved positively for both parties.”
The veteran actor has appeared in over 200 films. He is best known for his role as the diabolical Mr. Blonde in Reservoir Dogs. He also played Bud in two Kill Bill movies and appeared in The Hateful Eight.
